About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. My professional background bridges clinical mental health practice and a systems-level understanding of the legal and behavioral health landscape.
My clinical experience includes acute mental health care, crisis services, and substance use treatment, where I worked with individuals experiencing severe psychiatric distress, trauma exposure, and complex life stressors. This foundation informs a steady, grounded, and disciplined approach to psychotherapy.
I work with adolescents, adults, professionals, and couples who are often highly capable in their external roles yet experiencing internal strain. Many are navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, or relational challenges that have developed gradually under sustained pressure. My role is not to direct or advise from a distance, but to engage collaboratively — helping clients develop clarity, regulation, and sustainable change.
My approach is integrative and person-centered, drawing from trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and evidence-based modalities. Therapy is structured and thoughtfully paced, with attention to emotional regulation, insight development, and relational stability.
I value discretion, professionalism, and clear boundaries. Psychotherapy services are distinct from mitigation and forensic work, and roles are carefully maintained to preserve clinical integrity.
Therapy should feel natural and grounded while remaining clinically intentional. As one mentor expressed:
“Talking to a patient should feel like talking to a friend at the bar — without the inebriation.”
