Structured Services

Mitigation Services

Comprehensive psychosocial analysis and life history development for criminal defense matters, including serious felony and capital cases.

Work is consultative, structured, and grounded in trauma-informed clinical assessment. Services include multi-source record review, chronological life history reconstruction, and preparation of organized, litigation-ready reports tailored to sentencing and mitigation strategy.

Mitigation services are provided exclusively to defense counsel and legal teams.

Mitigation Services

Private Psychotherapy

Confidential, private-pay therapy for high-functioning adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma-related symptoms, and relational strain.

Therapy is integrative, evidence-based, and thoughtfully paced — designed to restore regulation, insight, and long-term stability in a discreet clinical setting.

Psychotherapy services operate independently from mitigation and forensic consultation.

Professional Foundation

Perspective Therapy PLLC bridges clinical expertise and systems-level understanding. The practice is grounded in professionalism, discretion, and clearly defined ethical boundaries. Caseloads are intentionally managed to preserve depth, organization, and quality of care. The practice is led by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, bringing integrated expertise in behavioral health, trauma-informed care, and systems-level understanding of legal contexts.

Clinical experience includes work in acute mental health settings, crisis intervention services, and substance use, with exposure to high-acuity presentations and complex psychosocial histories. This background informs both therapeutic treatment and forensic mitigation consultation, allowing for nuanced assessment of trauma, developmental factors, and environmental stressors across the lifespan.

The integration of clinical depth and criminal justice education supports a structured, ethically defined approach to both psychotherapy and mitigation services. Each service is maintained as a separate professional role to preserve objectivity, clarity of scope, and professional integrity.

About Perspective Therapy PLLC

Perspective Therapy PLLC is an independent clinical and consulting practice providing two distinct professional services: forensic mitigation consultation for criminal defense matters and private, cash-pay psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, and couples.

The practice was established to offer structured, trauma-informed services grounded in clinical rigor and ethical clarity. While mitigation and psychotherapy both draw from a foundation in behavioral health, they are maintained as separate professional roles to preserve objectivity, discretion, and defined scope of practice.

Mitigation services are consultative and litigation-focused, involving comprehensive psychosocial analysis, trauma-informed assessment, and life history development tailored to the strategic needs of defense counsel.

Psychotherapy services are treatment-oriented and provided in a private-pay setting designed to preserve confidentiality, flexibility, and depth of care without insurance-based constraints.

Perspective Therapy PLLC operates with intentional caseload management, careful maintenance of professional boundaries, and a disciplined standard of practice. The work is guided by professionalism, discretion, and respect for the complexity of human experience.
